Mickey Guyton is stirring anticipation for her next single — a collaboration with a mystery duet partner — and she’s keeping her social media followers guessing in the comments (luckily, however, they might not have to wait too long for more details).
Guyton gushed in a video she shared on Instagram on Friday (July 7) that she’s “so excited to share that I’m releasing my new single… and guess what? It is a collaboration.” Guyton’s song title and her duet partner’s name (though she referred to the artist as “my brother”) are censored from the video, but she promised the new single would be “mind-blowing. I’m so excited.”
“I cannot wait for y’all to hear this one! Stay tuned for some hints this weekend,” Guyton wrote in her caption. Instagram users cast guesses in the comments and dropped eager comments as they await more details.
The video comes shortly after Guyton posted a stunning selfie on her social media Chanels, hinting that she “might have some exciting news to share very soon… 🤍”
Guyton’s soon-to-debut collaboration follows a few previously-released singles within the last year, including “I Still Pray,” “How You Love Someone” and “Somethin’ Bout You.” Her full-length album, Remember Her Name, released in September 2021.
