Cody Johnson delivered the latest track from his upcoming deluxe album, following his highly-anticipated duet with Carrie Underwood. Johnson released “How Do You Sleep At Night?” on Friday (October 11).

Johnson’s heartbreak anthem will appear on Leather Deluxe Edition, an extended album featuring 13 new tracks that’s set to arrive on November 1. The original edition of Leather made its debut last year. The collection included “Dirt Cheap,” “Whiskey Bent” featuring Jelly Roll, “Long Live Country Music” featuring Brooks & Dunn, “The Painter” and more.

“How do you sleep at night knowing you hurt me?/ Knowing you burned me like a cigarette?/ And when you close your eyes, what do you see?/ Is it me, do you wish I was still in your bed?/ When you're alone in the dark, am I still in your dreams?/ Since you broke my heart, girl, how do you sleep at night?”

Johnson confirmed that Leather Deluxe Edition was on the way when he took the stage earlier this year at the 2024 Country Radio Seminar (CRS) in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. However, the Texas-born country artist did not reveal the release date at that time. Leather follows 2021’s Human The Double Album and 2019’s Ain’t Nothin’ To It.
