Jelly Roll shared the stage with surprise guest Bailey Zimmerman during a performance at his newly-opened bar in Nashville, Tennessee.

Jelly Roll welcomed Zimmerman to the stage to perform “Liar,” one of the anthems on his latest studio album, Beautifully Broken. The record and its 28-track deluxe edition arrived in October 2024, following Jelly Roll’s debut country album, Whitsitt Chapel, in June 2023. The song, which the singer-songwriter wrote with Ashley Gorley and Taylor Phillips, sees Jelly Roll calling out a “liar” who “burned me one too many times.”

“You ain’t nothin’ but a liar/ Yeah I walked right out the fire/ Yeah you tried to keep me down/ Tried to put me underground/ But I’m only goin' higher
“I can hear you in my head/ In my bed when I’m dreamin’/ You try to be my friend but you’re blowin’ smoke/ Oh and now I ain’t scared of tellin’ you where you can g/ ‘Cause I know/ You’re nothin’ but a liar”

Jelly Roll’s bar is called Goodnight Nashville. He teamed up with Scottsdale, Arizona-based Evening Entertainment Group to bring the venue to life at 209 Broadway. Jelly Roll became the first Nashville-born and -raised artist to open a bar downtown. He joins Miranda Lambert, Dierks Bentley, Lainey Wilson, Luke Combs, Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan and others with honky tonks in Nashville. The bar serves as “Jelly Roll’s love letter to his hometown and the lively music scene,” per Goodnight Nashville. “Nestled right on Broadway, our rustic, tattoo-themed bar spans four floors and features the highest rooftop in Music City. Dive into Nashville’s vibe with live music, tasty bites, and jaw-dropping skyline views from up top. No matter if you’re here to soak in the atmosphere or celebrate an event, Goodnight Nashville offers an unforgettable experience celebrating the best of Music City.”
