Kenny Chesney confirmed his return to a unique, immersive venue in Las Vegas after wrapping up his first 15-show run over the weekend.
Chesney wrapped up his final Kenny Chesney LIVE at Sphere Las Vegas performance on Saturday (June 21). During the show, he revealed to the audience for the first time that he would take the stage again in 2026; however, he has not announced the dates of the shows as of publication time on Monday (June 23).
“This summer at [Sphere] was so magical. We are gonna do it again next summer in 2026. Details later on this year. What a blast this was. Thanks to everyone who came to see us in Vegas. We are so grateful. Let’s do it again. KC,” Chesney said as he announced his 2026 run.
The 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee said in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon earlier this year that he’s “never done a residency in Vegas. …But this is such a unique, different thing for me and my band, my crew, our road family and the audience that we’ve built over the years. I just feel like it’s such (an) immersive thing. You know, it’s such a shared moment. I walked in there. I haven’t seen a show yet. I haven’t seen U2, I haven’t seen the Eagles. I signed up, yes, without seeing a show. But I went there, and they showed me a little bit of what was possible.”
Chesney’s Sphere shows engaged audiences with unique visuals as he performed “Beer in Mexico,” “Summertime,” “Somewhere With You,” “Living in Fast Forward,” “Big Star,” “Out Last Night” and other career-spanning hits. Surprise guests throughout the Vegas run included Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Moroney, Old Dominion, Mac McAnally (whose surprise appearance included a tribute to late legend Jimmy Buffett), Grace Potter and Uncle Kracker.
“I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music,” Chesney said in a statement when he announced his decision perform his run of shows at the unique, immersive venue. His shows kicked off on May 22. “Over the years, they have shown me through their own response to these songs how passionate they are about what they mean, how these songs are part of their lives. When people give you that much heart, I want to give them even more.
“When we started talking about all of the possibilities playing Sphere offered, I was all in,” he continued. “Just the idea of 4D technology and the impossibly dialed in sound raises the experience for No Shoes Nation, literally immersing them in music, visuals, sound and being together. To me, this is going to be a whole new way of rocking the fans, and I can’t wait.”
