Something happened for the first time on The Bobby Bones Show today!
Before Bobby Bones got to work, he got a text of a video from Amy that showed her locked in her room and she couldn’t get out. It showed her inside her bedroom trying to open her door and she is explaining how she can’t get out and she’s not sure how it happened. Bones called her and told her to remove any feelings of fluster for being late, and that it was hilarious. They debated other options to get her out of the room like going out the window, but her room is located on the second floor. She banged and screamed loud enough to wake her kids up and get them to try and help, but it didn’t work, so she called a handyman.
He checked back in with her a few minutes later and she was still locked in her room with the dog and cat, but help was there working on the other side of the door trying to open it. She admitted withdrawals from caffeine started to set in, but she made the most of her time locked in her room by organizing her closet, bathroom and fully making her bed. She thought about calling the fire department for help and wondered if that’s how she would meet someone! After a few minutes of trying to get the door unlocked, she was able to finally get it open with the help of a handyman! The handyman only spoke Spanish, so Eddie and Mike D had to speak with him to figure out what happened and was informed it was something with the middle part of the lock. Once she was free, she got coffee and headed to work! Later on in the morning, Amy arrived at the studio and was very grateful for everyone who woke up early and helped. She is going to need to buy a new doorknob and is also going to buy a ladder to throw out the window to climb out to be prepared if it happens again.
