Thomas Rhett teamed up with Marshmello on an electrifying, genre-blending collaboration on Friday (April 10).

Marshmello wrote “Where We Go” with Charlie Handsome, Mark Holman, Geoff Warburton and Ryan Hurd. The DJ and record producer collaborated with Rhett, who posted a few teasers (as “the young kids would call” them) on TikTok and Instagram in the weeks before the song’s debut. Commenters reacted, “Marshmello x Thomas Rhett Collab Wasn't On My 2026 Bingo Card,” “I better be getting this soon,” “oh I am so freaking ready for this collab,” and more.

Rhett, who welcomed Baby No. 5 with wife Lauren Akins earlier this year, brings country flair to Marshmello’s energetic anthem (with a nod to late legend Conway Twitty). “Where We Go” marks Marshmello’s latest collaboration with a country artist, following previous singles with Hudson Westbrook, Jelly Roll, Kane Brown and more.

“Where We Go” is Rhett’s latest team-up with an artist outside of the country music community. The country superstar also announced upcoming co-headlining shows with pop megastar and longtime friend Niall Horan. Both stadium shows — which will take place in Nashville, Tennessee, and Hersey, Pennsylvania — appear on Rhett’s “Soundtrack To Life Tour” stops.
